State Route 231, Is a North-South highway in northwestern Ohio. Its southern terminus is in Morral. Its northern terminus is at State Route 100 in Tiffin.

- 1926 – Route 231 certified. Originally routed from Nevada to 1 mile north of Nevada.[2]
- 1932 – Extended to 3 miles north of Morral along previous unnumbered road.[2]
- 1933 – Extended to Morral along previous unnumbered road.[2]
- 1938 – Extended to 2 miles north of Deunquat along previous unnumbered road.[2]
- 1939 - Extended to Tiffin along previous unnumbered road.[2]
