Offset Software is a game development company based in Newport Beach, California. It was founded by Sam McGrath, Travis Stringer and Trevor Stringer, who all formerly worked for S2 Games developing Savage: The Battle for Newerth, which won the grand prize at the Independent Games Festival in 2004.
The company's first game, as yet unreleased, has the working title "Project Offset". It is a game in the first-person shooter genre set in an epic fantasy world. It has been showcased on Attack of the Show!.
Offset Software is building a new game engine, the "Offset Engine", for this game. The company has 17 developers.[1]
On February 20, 2008 it was announced that Offset Software had been acquired by Intel.[2]
