OFC Beach Soccer Championship
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In 2006 the Oceania Football Confederation hosted its first international Beach Soccer tournament. Tahiti[1] island of Moorea was choosed to host the event in September 2006, with a purpose-built facility set.
Four teams - Cook Islands, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu - were selected to compete with the winner set to travel to Brazil in December.
Tahiti must have the ability to cover the event on television in accordance with the BSWW specifications for ESPN and Eurosport.
