Oets Kolk Bouwsma (1898-1978) was a philosopher who taught at the University of Nebraska for many years. He is best known as as a follower of Ludwig Wittgenstein, to whom he was introduced by Norman Malcolm. In 1950, he gave the first John Locke Lectures after Wittgenstein declined the opportunity.
