Description
English: Œdipe enfant rappelé à la vie par le berger Phorbas qui l'a détaché de l'arbre (The child Œdipus brought back to life by the shepherd Phorbas, who took him off the tree). A plaster model was exhibited at the Salon of 1801. Completed by Pierre Cartellier (1757–1831) and Louis-Marie Dupaty (1771–1825) after Chaudet's death.
Français : Œdipe enfant rappelé à la vie par le berger Phorbas qui l'a détaché de l'arbre, par Antoine-Denis Chaudet (1763-1810). Un modèle en plâtre fut exposé au Salon de 1801. Achevé par Pierre Cartellier (1757–1831) et Louis-Marie Dupaty (1771–1825) après la mort de Chaudet.
