The second network launched by Ripe Digital Entertainment, OctaneTV has provided motor sports entertainment since August of 2006. Like Ripe Digital Entertainment’s other networks, OctaneTV utilizes short-form programming (5 to 15 minutes) with embedded advertising to create a seamless viewing experience for its consumers.

[edit] Multi-Platform Availability
OctaneTV is available to viewers free-of-cost at their broadband internet site: OctaneTV. It is also available on cable VOD through Comcast, Time Warner and various other MSO. OctaneTV can be found over wireless devices like iPods and video-capable cell phones too. By offering content on demand over multiple platforms, OctaneTV is catering to the A.D.D. consumers in the age of digital media.
[edit] Programming
OctaneTV focuses on motor sports with an undeniable vein of sexual suggestion seen most readily in programs like Hot Import Nights, Sexy Road Test, and Girls of MotoX. Other programs focus more exclusively on the performance and style aspects of motor sports. Shows like Da Shop focus on customization, for example, and the program Drift Scene examines the young and exiting world of drifting.
[edit] Connective Advertising
Connective advertising consists of advertisements “baked into” the programs delivering multiple impressions on consumers without breaking the viewing experience in the way traditional commercial breaks do. Advertisers are then charged on a per-view basis making for a uniquely efficient marketing transaction for all parties involved.
