The Ochopee Post Office is the smallest post office in the United States. It is a tiny shed on U.S. Route 41 near Ochopee, Florida, 34141-9998. It is located about 3 miles (5 km) west of the intersection of US 41 and Florida State Road 29. The building used to be a storage facility for irrigation pipes of an adjacent tomato farm. It was turned into a post office after a fire which destroyed Ochopee's previous post office and general store. The post office is currently fully functional, serving the surrounding populations of Miccosukee and Seminole Indians. The local post clerk is often asked for the famous Ochopee post mark.
In the USPS it is known as site 1842US.
The Wooten family has owned the property since 1992.
