---The Beyond and Oceanic

"In 2003, Cult of Luna released The Beyond; taking a similar stylistic departure from previous LP Cult of Luna as Oceanic took from preceding albums SGNL>05 and Celestial. Whilst it is unfair to accuse Cult of Luna of plagiarism, it is hard to disprove any influence"

This is ridiculous, Cult of Luna is influenced by Isis but 'The Beyond' is way way way heavier and darker than Oceanic, Oceanic is very melodic even with the heavy bits. --Killingthedream 15:57, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quotes

In order to eventually turn this into something readable...

In the fall of 2002, Isis – the Boston-born, L.A.-based quintet – released their second full-length and first masterpiece, Oceanic, a post-Neurosis dirge influenced as much by Mogwai as by death and grind.
