OCEAN ADVENTURE is a marine theme park located at Camayan Wharf, West Ilanin Forest Area, Subic Bay that is envisioned to foster conservation by providing a first class tourist, leisure and recreation attraction through the exhibition of marine life in a natural setting. Built on a 12,000 sq.meter landside and with an 8,000 sq. meter waterside, this education-entertainment (edutainment) park offers the following service facilities:
EL CAPITAN THEATER This stadium offers guests the most fantastic view of the awe-inspiring pseudorca presentations!
NAUTILUS THEATHER In this stadium, guests get to meet Ocean Adventure’s adorable and amusing sea lions!
DISCOVERY AQUARIUM A 280 sq. m. building that contains an arrangement of fresh water and seawater (marine) habitats relevant to the Philippine ecosystem. The Ocean Discovery Aquarium aims to inspire understanding and conservation of the natural environment through interaction and discovery by providing an entertaining and educational facility that will serve as base for protective and educational activities extending into the surrounding forest watershed and bay area.
LEARNING CENTER This air-conditioned facility offers educational materials and information on marine mammals and marine conservation.
ANIMAL CARE CLINIC A behind-the-scene on how the animals are cared for. It offers visitors a chance to view the actual lab work evaluating individual health parameters of the mammals.
ANIMAL NUTRITION CENTER A behind-the-scene look on the kitchen support extended to the animals. Visitors will be given the chance to see how animal food and dietary programs are prepared.
OCEAN TREASURES This is a 180 sq. meter gift shop located by the entry/exit gate. This displays unique items and mementos that visitors may purchase as lasting souvenirs of their Ocean Adventure experience.
ILANIN BAY CAFÉ Is a 240 sq. meter restaurant with an indoor seating capacity of 80 guests and outdoor facility that can accommodate 100 guests. This glass-enclosed restaurant offers a spectacular view of Subic Bay!
SEA LION TRAINING CENTER Fascinating behind-the-scene looks at how our sea lions are trained and watch them create a masterpiece.
ANIMAL PHOTO ENCOUNTER PROGRAM For guests who would rather not get wet but would like a chance to pet and feed the dolphins, they can avail themselves of the photo encounter. Participants simply stay on a float, feed and pet the dolphins and then have a photo taken with them. Guests may also have their photos taken with the sea lions.
QUAY WALL AREA Is a facility that offers a spectacular view of Subic Bay, the dolphin and whale habitat, the open water aquarium of the sharks and barramundi.
ENCOUNTER COVE Where the first swim and beach encounter program in the world happen! Guests are given the rare opportunity to join the dolphins in the water and feed, pet, pat, play, and dance and even swim with them. This is also where other fascinating exhibits such as the mangrove exhibit are found!
WILDLIFE IN NEED RESCUE CENTER Is a facility that provides care for sick and injured animals. Come see these animals and learn what you can do to protect the forests and the animals that live in them.
EXHIBITS On display are the special crates and boxes that were utilized in transporting the animals and some of the unique materials used in constructing the water facilities.
