[edit] CKY user template

I love the cky user template, really do, but I think it might fall foul of the fair use guidelines to use a copyrighted logo in templates / userspace... thats what stopped me making this template or adding the logo to the project template. Obviously, the world isn't grinding to a halt on account of this issue... Deizio talk 15:21, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Absolutely.. but like I say, the world aint gonna end if you haven't got time right now ;) Deizio talk 15:40, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warning templates

Thanks for helping out with reverting vandals. One thing I noticed is that when you have been leaving a warning template on the vandal's Talk page, you are not subst: the templates. You'll want to substitute all the warning templates that you issue. Thanks again for helping out. =) -- Gogo Dodo 05:42, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Re your message: The subst: command takes a copy of the warning template and inserts it into the Talk page instead of transcluding the message. It's done for a couple of reasons. See Wikipedia:Template substitution for details. So if you warn somebody you would write something like {{subst:uw-vandalism1|Wikipedia:Sandbox}}. -- Gogo Dodo 05:50, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Re your message: Thanks again for helping out. Don't worry about the previous warnings you have issued. There is a bot that will go around and fix them. =) -- Gogo Dodo 05:57, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
I have the same problem.. but that bot just takes care of it :) Deiz talk 09:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fausto Vitello's photo

Is the photo is under GNU license - could it be published on Commons? Very good article by the way!--KoRnholio8 08:42, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

  • The photo was released by the family after his death. I think they would have to release it for use on the commons. Ocatecir Talk 09:43, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Is there a website or other document that confirms it? Then it could easily go anywhere.. Deiz talk 09:58, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
