Object 47 is an upcoming album by the English post punk band Wire, so called because it is the 47th item in the Wire discography - a methodology harking back to the name of their 1979 album, 154, which was named after the number of concerts they'd played to that point. It will be released on July 7th, 2008 ^[1]. The opening track "One of us" is available for download on Pinkflag.com, the band's website.
