Obama Works is a grassroots organization that seeks to utilize the energy created by the Obama presidential bid to do public service activities. [1] Founded by two Yale students and a group of Philadelphia residents in early 2008, the group has done "Sweeps" for their candidate of choice in Philadelphia and New Haven. [2] [3]
