[edit] Summary

Crocosmia sp., "Las Cumbres" ecotourism area, Santa Catarina Ixtepeji, Oaxaca, Mexico, May 2005. Can anyone identify it? I've narrowed it down to monocots :-)

This is my first "edit", so please exucse me if I falter. It looks to me like Montbretia sp. 74.135.19.68 19:48, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

A petaloid monocot (i.e. lilialean or asparagalean). I'd also suspect Montbretia, except that I'd use the name Crocosmia 80.176.90.190 13:28, 30 May 2007 (UTC) (Lavateraguy at WikiPedia)

I'm quite sure that it's a Crocosmia - but not sure which species/hybrid - e.g. Montbretia (Crocosmia x crocosmiflora), so I changed the category to Crocosmia... --Anna reg 17:47, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
