[edit] Photo request

Dear Wiki editors March 9th, 2007

I am just noticing your chapter on the Oaks Amusement Park today. I am a born and raised Portlander and just completed working with a film crew from Hollywood at the roller rink. I would like to suggest that with all the great history and info that you include in this chapter about the Oaks Pioneer Park, that you should include an inteior photo of the roller rink and the overhead pipe organ as this is the big draw hear to this park. To not include a photo of this is difficult for me to understand. The photo of the park in the distance in youor main page article is nice but shows very little other than a few fair rides. I am also a professional photographer and astronomy teacher so i would offer my services to contribute the photo work and an aesthetic photo- Please feel free to contact me at the below info.

Thanks for any consideration of my suggestion, -Mark Mark seibold 13:37, 10 March 2007 (UTC)comment moved from Talk:Oaks Pioneer Park by --Onorem 13:40, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Antique steam locomotive?

Oaks Park used to house two steam locomotives that have been removed from the park and restored to working condition. They live in Portland at the Brooklyn railyard. Isn't there one more steam engine still left in the park on display?... --Ragemanchoo (talk) 01:26, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
