Oaklandazulasylum is the first full-length album from indie/hip-hop band Why?. It was released in the US on June 16, 2003. The album was recorded over a period of two years by Jonathan "Yoni" Wolf, who used Why? as a solo project until 2005's Elephant Eyelash when he enlisted his brother Josiah Wolf and Doug McDiarmid to join the band. The track "Early Whitney" also appeared on an EP of the same name that was released shortly after Oaklandazulasylum.
