Nyulnyulan languages

The Nyulnyulan languages are a small family of closely related Australian Aboriginal languages spoken in northern Australia.
The languages are Nyulnyul, Yawuru, Warrwa, Nyigina, Bardi, Djawi, Dyaberdyaber, Dyugan, Nimanburru. There is an eastern branch and a western branch which have been established on the basis of lexical and morphological innovation (Bowern 2004: Bardi Verb Morphology in Historical Perspective PhD, Harvard University).
