Nyewood is a hamlet in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England situated in the Western Rother valley. The village is on an unclassified road between Rogate and South Harting , the hub of the Harting and Nyewood civil parish that also includes the smaller settlements at West andEast Harting[1]. In former times it was also an intermediate station on the ”Middy”, a rural railway line that ran between Petersfield and Midhurst[2]. Despite its small size the area supports some notable businesses including an independent brewery whose hallmark brew is named after the hamlet[3]

There are many living legends in nyewood , people you must meet if you go there i shall i highlight a few firstly
Bert Bleach : main claim to fame being the oldest resident of nyewood meaning he was born there and still lives there and has never left . This is proof if any more is needed that nyewood is a hub of social excitment.
Maisy : Since nyewoods inclusion on such sites as wikipedis and shitvillages.com ,nyewood has seen a huge rise in tourists and terrorist threats . To ward off all potential bomb threats and to keep the hords of eastern tourists that now fill the streets ( often to the point of where it is simply imposible to drive in the village ) . The whole village decided to have a meating a the legendary henry warren social club where it was decided that thay need round the clock protection . There was only one women for the job and she was happy to take on the challenge , maisy ( last name unknown as she likes to keep an aura around her ) has since 2006 patroled the whole length of nyewood 24 hours a day seven days a week rain or shine she can be seen protecting the abbis that is nyewood
