[edit] Thanks for your help
Thank you for taking the time to clean up and add sources for facts in the article Primarily Primates. It's an article I had wanted to get back to for some time. My own interest stems from my background as an anthropologist. The well-known chimp Oliver who is resident there is how I first came to know of the sanctuary. Please continue to help improve the article and let me know if I can assist you in any way.LiPollis 15:25, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] If your still wondering
If your still wondering how to make a userbox:
<div style="float: left; border:dodgerblue 1px; margin: 1px;"> {| cellspacing="0" style="width: 238px; background: white;" | style="width: 45px; height: 45px; background: dodgerblue; text-align: center; font-size: {{{5|{{{id-s|14}}}}}}pt; color: {{{id-fc|black}}};" | '''[[Image:Im.jpeg|40px]]''' | style="font-size: {{{info-s|8}}}pt; padding: 4pt; line-height: 1.25em; color: {{{info-fc|black}}};" | <center>This user is a '''MONEY WANTER''' or a '''MONEY NEEDER'''. |}</div>
This will Make this:

So if you change it to what you want (Like text or picture) you will get what you want. Roxmysoxo::Talk To Me 04:23, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RE: Primarily Primates
I got your message and thanks. It is rare for the admins to protect an article or even semi-protect it unless there is a possibiity of legal action for the defammatory stuff being added. All you and I can do is report the vandals each time they reinstate the flase material and edit it out of the article. presumably, after 3 or 4 warnings, those people can be banned. Another idea would be to try and interest a heavily active editor in the article - someone who is on every day. Try going to the mammals project or the Primates project. there is one biologist editor I know who might help out with watching the article. I can't think of his name off the top of my head but he was super helpful in an article abou the Sweater curse back when every helpful edit I made was reverted by a passionate knitter who has some very deeply held personal opinions on that subject. If you go there, you might figure out who it is. he's diplomatic, brilliant and dedicated to wikipedia. WHo could ask for a better helper? LOL. LiPollis (talk) 22:13, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] You are invited!
| New York City Meetup
|
In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, and have salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the last meeting's minutes).
Well also make preparations for our exciting Wikipedia Takes Manhattan event, a free content photography contest for Columbia University students planned for Friday March 28 (about 2 weeks after our meeting).
In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.
You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.
You're also invited to subscribe to the public Wikimedia New York City mailing list, which is a great way to receive timely updates.
This has been an automated delivery because you were on the invite list. BrownBot (talk) 03:19, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
