Nyctimantis rugiceps is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Nyctimantis. It is found in Ecuador, Peru, and possibly Colombia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical swamps. It is threatened by habitat loss.
