Zur Vorbeugung gegen nächtliche „Graffiti-Künstler“ ließ die MTA ab 1982 ihre Abstellanlagen massiv absichern. Diese Anlagen bestehen üblicherweise aus zwei Reihen Maschendrahtzaun mit Stacheldrahtverhau, die in einem Abstand von etwa drei Metern hintereinander stehen und bis zu vier Meter hoch sind. Zwischen den Zäunen geht der Sicherheitsdienst mit Wachhunden Streife. English: Fence at Coney Island Complex.
In order to keep graffiti “artists” away, the MTA implemented extensive security sytems around their yards. They put up dual fences four meters high and about 10 feet apart that were topped with razor wire. And men with dogs started to patrol this 10-foot space. |
