Deutsch: U-Bahnhof 23rd Street an der BMT Broadway Line der New Yorker U-Bahn. Dieser so genannte Local-Bahnhof liegt an einer viergleisigen Strecke und wird nur von den Local-Zügen angefahren, die die äußeren beiden Gleise benutzen und an den beiden Seitenbahnsteigen halten. Express-Züge befahren das innenliegende Gleispaar und passieren den Bahnhof ohne Halt. Diese Architektur hatte sich schon beim Bau der ersten U-Bahnen unter den Straßen Manhattans herausgebildet und sich als Quasi-Standard etabliert.
English: 23rd Street station on the BMT Broadway Line of the New York City Subway. This so-called local station is situated on a four-track line and is only served by local trains using the outer tracks and stopping at the two side platforms. Express trains use the inner tracks and pass the station without a halt. That kind of arrangement had already been used when the very first subway lines were built under the streets of Manhattan and is therefore a kind of “standard layout”.

Cette station locale se trouve à une ligne à 4 voies et n'est desservie que par les métros omnibus, qui utilisent les voies et les quais extérieurs. Les lignes qui circulent en express utilisent les voies du milieu et ne s'arrêtent pas là. Ce arrangement déjà utilisé à l'époque des premieres lignes sous les rues de Manhattan est regardé comme le standard de construction du métro de New York.
