The Nyanza Barb (Barbus nyanzae) is a species of ray-finned fish in the Cyprinidae family. It is found in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are rivers, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, and inland deltas. It is threatened by habitat loss.
