Numa Numa

[edit] Licensing

Source: The New York Times Metro, Saturday, February 26, 2005, page B6.

[edit] FU rationale

It is believed this image is fair use as:

  • It is a low-resolution scan of part of a page in a newspaper,
  • Its publication here does not compete with the copyright holder's ability to make money off of their copyright (which is limited, for an old newspaper page)
  • It is being used for informational purposes only, not for profit
  • In Numa Numa and in Gary Brolsma, it is used to illustrate the impact of the Numa Numa dance video, specifically, that the incident and its aftermath was covered in the New York Times.
  • It also shows low-resolution stills of the video itself.
