   Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
   # This image is used to identify the subject of the National University article. The image is low-resolution to minimise the risk of copyright infringement. A free alternative is not possible because the school holds copyright on all reproductions of the seal (an identifying symbol unique to the school).
   # It is of much lower resolution than the original.
   # The photo is only being used for informational purposes.
   # Its inclusion in the article adds significantly to the article because the photo and its historical significance are the object of discussion in the article.
