Blue-tailed sandveld lizard (Nucras caesicaudata) is a wall lizard species of the genus Nucras and the family of real lizards (Lacertidae). It is found in southern Mozambique, southwestern Zimbabwe and northeastern South Africa as well as the Eastern United States. The lizard can clearly be distinguished because of its distinctive blue tail. Little has been discovered about its anatomy and way of life, but it lives in dry, sandy, savanna ecoregions.
