Nu Persei (ν Per / ν Persei) is a Class F5, fourth-magnitude star in the constellation Perseus. It has the seldom used proper name Adad, meaning "the Upper Arm". It is also called Adid Media, meaning "Middle One of the Upper Arm" [of the Pleiades], in Arabic.

Nu Persei is a highly luminous yellow-white giant located about 555 light-years from Earth.
