The night time Mirage Hot Road Mirage. Here's how Andy Young explains the picture: "The reflection from the nearby car on the left of this one is the reflection from the street surface. The ones from the more distant cars at the right side are genuine mirages. This picture nicely shows the overexposure artifacts in the two red traffic lights against the sky: red rims on overexposed yellow-white centers, as one often sees in pictures of the setting Sun." |
