Talk:NOVA Greece

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sure, why not! They are pretty much the same, with Nova Cyprus missing some Greek channels.

Hi, I am the one who wrote the two articles and I think they should both remain as is. They may have common ownership and a similar channel lineup but they serve 2 different subscriber bases in 2 different countries. What is the rationale for merging them?HeMan5 21:05, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

They are similar but they are difinatley not the same thing. As a subscriber to Nova Cyprus I can assure you that it has a unique Cypriot flavour. Nova Cyprus could easily be sold to another company in future, as a shake-up of the pay-tv market is very likely. It could be renamed to something other than "Nova Cyprus" also.Andricon 11:04, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Absolutely do not merge! Would you merge SKY with SKY Italia??? I don't think so... Zisimos 13:11, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Future Development" part is offending Wikipedia by spreading uncited rumors.

"Future development" editor does not cite his-her sources. It is vital to the creditability of Wikipedia to not spread any original research, first-person sourced news or rumors into articles without them being cited via external links - hence the removal. Makrisj (talk) 20:56, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Criticism added

Due to the lack of the "criticism" section, vandalism was observed. Criticism was added, though, to satisfy the opinions of many company users. It reflects the truth, and I can provide various sources stating it, with the problem that they are in Greek and therefore can't be evaluated by non-Greek wikipedia editors.
