  • Martyrs Acindynus, Pegasius, and Anempodistus contested around the year 330 CE. Persian Christians who confessed their faith before Shapur II, the king. Their confession inspired the conversion of 7000 Persians before they were burned to death. Two churches in Constantinople are named in their honor. [1]
