Novar (also Novar Controls) is a United States company based in Cleveland, Ohio. Novar is a manufacturer of building automation systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning HVAC equipment.

Novar Controls became part of Honeywell International in 2005 when its parent company Novar plc was acquired. In North America, Novar is comprised of two groups: Novar, whose entire focus is on multi-site organizations, customers include Wal-Mart, Circuit City Stores, Toys R Us and others, and independent Novar Technology Centers. The latter group is now transitioning to the Trend name, which has historically been strong in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.
