Nova Generacia

Nova Generacia, Нова генерация, (or "New Generation" in English) is a Bulgarian new/cold/dark wave musical group. It was founded in 1987 by Димитър Воев (Dimiter Voev) who was well known for his profound lyrics. However Voev died suddenly in 1992 at the age of 27. During his life and especially after his death Nova Generacia achieved cult status outside the mainstream music. After the death of Voev Nova Generacia temporarily disbanded and the rest of the band members became involved in other projects in both Sofia and Montréal. In 2003 they re-formed and are currently recording a new album. The music of Nova Generacia is influenced by Joy Division,Depeche mode and The Cure.
