I was pretty stumped with this one. Not sure if it would fit in Category:Practical joke devices or not. Any help would be appreciated. --Wolf530 (talk) 05:14, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- I think there may be some vague relationship to the trammel jig, which you would use to make elliptical cuts (e.g. with a wood router). Unfortunately, information is pretty sparse on Google, and I'm no expert, so that's about all I can offer. Check out this or this or, perhaps best, here. —HorsePunchKid→龜 15:36, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- Probably the Toy category is most appropriate. What's stumping me is finding any sort of related article that can link to this one. It doesn't appear to have any relation to other toy articles. =Axlq 18:18, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

- Finally put a link to this article on crank (mechanism) and removed the linkless tag. =Axlq 17:36, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nothing grinder
I never heard of this device called by any other name but "nothing grinder" before I found this article, so I checked Google. The result:
I vote for a change to the article name.--Drvanthorp 23:38, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- When doing a google search to determine the occurrences of a term, I find it more effective to enclose the term in inverted commas and add -wikipedia to eliminate most of the references back to the wiki article(s) on the subject, so "bullshit grinder" -wikipedia returns 103 against "nothing grinder" -wikipedia returning 734. Given that it clearly is a more common alternate name for the same device, I'm simply going to move it and add reference to the alternate name. --Athol Mullen 00:45, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
