Notre Dame Junction is the nick-name for the interchange between Route 340 and the Trans-Canada Highway. In the past, there was an Irving station there for travelers but now the junction just consists of a Tourist Information Center. It is near towns like Lewisporte and is about 30 minutes from Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor. Taking an exit off the Trans-Canada Highway at Notre Dame Junction will lead you along Road to the Isles; a region of Newfoundland & Labrador with small fishing communities including Twillingate.
