Not In Nottingham is a song from Walt Disney's film Robin Hood sung by Roger Miller as Alan-a-Dale the rooster. It is featured in the film during a scene depicting the anthropomorphic animals inside Nottingham's jail and is followed by Roger Miller's narration. The version in the movie features a repetitive and ominously haunting church bell ringing just before Miller explains that the people of Nottingham are in jail because they could not afford to pay taxes.
