This is a drawing of a very simple notch filter. The resonant frequency of this circuit is 1/sqrt(LC) which is 1591.5Hz. The series impedance of the capacitor and inductor at this frequency is zero, which yields zero output. See also Analysis_NotchFilter_1591hz.png.
