[edit] Hi! How are you doing?

Welcome to Wikipedia!

I came across your help request at Wikipedia:User Page Design Center/Help and collaboration/Help Requests.

You asked "I need help making my page look nice. Can someone help me perhaps by suggesting a design?"

Sure. I can.

The simplest design to start out with is the "article format". Just write your user page like an article, using headings and paragraphs, and maybe a list or two. The most important thing is to tell us (the Wikipedia community) about yourself, especially about your expertise, so that we may get to know you and approach you with intelligent requests (and suggestions). Let us know what you are capable of, your availability, your interests, what you are working on, etc.

You can add new page design elements as you progress. There's no hurry.

For ideas on what else you could put on your user page, and what else you can use your user page and user space (subpages) for, see the User Page Design Center. It covers everything from menus to borders to background colors to content and images. Everything. There is even a section listing some of the best user pages on Wikipedia.

I hope you find my advice helpful.

Good luck, and have fun.  ;)

[edit] Simple formatting

I took the liberty of adding some simple formatting to your user pages to help you get started. You can tweak the wikicode, changing the colors, etc. For a selection of colors to choose from, see Web colors. The Transhumanist    10:48, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
