[edit] Internet

Does anyone know if there is anywhere on the internet a person can watch entire games? Free if possible. Ffda (talk) 21:19, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Founding year

Why is the league listed as having been founded in 1991? From what I can tell, it only got a name change in 1991, no new separate league was founded this year. Tippeligaen is a continuation from the league that was founded in 1937, and as such the founding year should be 1937. I guess you could also make a case for it being 1972, as 1972 was the first year of the all-Norwegian league that is played today. Tippeligaen was not founded in 1991, however, it only got a new name. I'm going to change the founding year to 1937.

[edit] Criteria for "Notable foreign former players"

What's the criteria for "notable"? That they were notable in the Norwegian league (in which case, what are the likes for SolĂs, Tourray and Mabizela doing there?), or that they have made themself a name somewhere and have had at least a minor stay in Norway? I would suggest that to be listed here the player should have had at least some impact on the Norwegian league. If they are former "big names" they should at least play regularly for a season. Players who later move on to become big should also have made some impact (like Mikel). Havard 13:57, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Tippeliga-logo.gif

Image:Tippeliga-logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
