The German version of this article looks extremely good - maybe we should borrow it some more - http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%B6rdlicher_Seeb%C3%A4r

That picture currently in the article is not a northern fur seal (maybe a steller sea lion?). I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to change the image with proper attribution, but in the meantime a picture of an actual northern fur seal male can be found at http://nmml.afsc.noaa.gov/AlaskaEcosystems/nfshome/nfsGallery/pages/SNP92bull.htm.

  • replaced image as suggested. good eye there!Sabine's Sunbird 04:07, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The range map is wrong

The range map is wrong, it doesn't even match up with the text. The Northern Fur seal ranges down the American Coast at least to San Francisco.Sabine's Sunbird 04:38, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Definetly. I thought the map looked funny. -- Jason Palpatine 03:06, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

I went ahead and replaced it with the one from the German article. --TeaDrinker 20:45, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
