[edit] Re: Proposal to merge article with Drayton School article

In my opinion the articles should not be merged. Although North Oxfordshire Academy (NOA) will be on the same site as Drayton School, it will be a completely different school. It will be funded by, and accountable to, a different authority (ULT as opposed to Oxfordshire), will have different governors, a different principal, a different curriculum etc etc.

When NOA opens its article is likely to expand.

Drayton School has been an important part of the life of Banbury between 1973 and 2007 and therefore should retain its separate article.

I do agree with you there. Drayton School should have a separate article even though many Drayton staff are now moving to North Oxfordshire Academy. Manm hk 08:10, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
