[edit] Rename?
It's not really a 'junction', is it? I took the most straightforward translation from the French when I created the page, but I think now that it would be better to name it something like North-South connection or even North-South connection (Brussels). See Junction (rail) for the definition there. Any opinions? --David Edgar (talk) 16:51, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- The English railway term "junction" translates better to French "embranchement" or (in Belgium) to "bifurcation" (Dutch "vertakking"). The French noun "jonction" has a general meaning of "joining", "connection" or "link". The Dutch noun "verbinding" also translates to "connection" or "link".
