Talk:North-South Expressway, Malaysia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This appears to be the Asia's unofficial Autobahn as almost all motorist in all states(except in Johor)ignore the speed limit and hit speed up to 180km/h,even powerful buses also speed past 100km/h. I experience all this when i was travelling back to Singapore from Penang via the NS highway.Ceecookie 14:05, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Speed Limit on the North South Expressway
In my 10 years experience of using the North South Expressway, I have observed that motorists generally follow the 110 km/hr speed limit (this speed limit applies to 90% of the expressway). But expect significant slowdowns during the holiday season such as the Chinese New year and Hari Raya festivals.
[edit] Speed limit of North-South Expressway
Federal Highway route 2 (FHR2) can be considered as a metropolitan expressway, therefore the speed limit should be reduced because of very high traffic capacity. North-South Expressway on the other hand is designed as a national expressway which runs for long distances, therefore this expressway should have speed limit as high as 110 km/h. Nope,110km/h is too low, it should have no speed limit, much like the German Autobahn Ceecookie 12:42, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
