[edit] Category:University College London

My feeling is that this category should not be used for individuals associated with UCL. I added this person to "professors" as a reasonable alternative place to put him. If preferred we could have Category:UCL lecturers (or being very pedantic Category:UCL assistant lecturers), but I really do not think Norman Lloyd Johnson is in the same category as Jeremy Bentham when talking about UCL. --stochata 14:10, 5 September 2005 (UTC)

Fair enough not to list everyone associated with UCL in this category. However, being not at all pedantic I cannot understand why someone who was an assistant lecturer, then lecturer, then reader should only be listed as an assistant lecturer! RachelBrown 09:44, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I was being facetious with the "assistant lecturer", and had I read the article I would have realised he became a reader... you have hit upon a complete failing with my "UCL professors" category. In retrospect perhaps "UCL academics" would be more appropriate. I can set this up. What do you think? (The current system also miscategorises A. S. Byatt.) --stochata 09:53, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
Excellent idea. RachelBrown 12:53, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
