Northwest College Preparatory High School, sometimes referred to as Northwest or just NWCP, is a public high school in Rochester, New York. It is in the Rochester City School District.

The stated mission of Northwest College Preparatory School is to graduate students who are prepared to become good citizens, future leaders and meaningful contributors to society. To accomplish this, the school's goal is to provide a safe and positive environment characterized by cutting-edge technology and highly skilled teachers.

The school's aim is to instill the following core values in students:

  • Exploration: to inspire students to step out of their comfort zone intellectually, emotionally & socially.
  • Engagement: to stimulate students to actively participate and be completely present.
  • Empowerment: to ensure students develop a voice through their education and advocate for their future.
  • Challenge: to develop a critical lens, which enables students to view the world from multiple perspectives.

In September 2007 the Northwest College Preparatory High School moved to the Fredrick Douglass Campus.

Northwest College Prep shares its athletic teams with the Northeast College Preparatory High School making the teams that are housed on the Douglass Campus. Several of the Varsity Teams are combined with the Franklin Campus.
