The North County Times is a Lee Enterprises local newspaper in north San Diego County, California, current publisher Peter York.
It also publishes The Californian in Temecula, located in southwest Riverside County, current publisher C. W. Reinke.
Starting in the mid-1990's, The North County Times began an annual program selecting ten Women of Merit, chosen from amongst dozens of area nominations.

ESCONDIDO, Calif.—The North County Times offered voluntary buyouts to cut 20 newsroom jobs, or 15 percent of its 130-person newsroom.
