The North City is an archaeological site in Egypt. It occupies a triangular piece of ground between the river and the lower slope of the approaching cliff that eventually reaches the river bank and closes the Amarna plain to the north. The present extent of ancient remains runs for a distance of 800 metres from south to north, and measures 250 metres at its widest point along the southern margin.
