North Bucks and District League

The North Bucks and District League is a football competition based in England. This league was established in 1911. The top division, which is the Premier Division, sits at level 12 of the English football league system.
The top club may be promoted to the Spartan South Midlands Football League Division Two, however in practice application to the South Midlands League is separate from this, and is usually accepted dependent on the club facilities rather than league position. The increased requirements of the South Midlands League have therefore led to some clubs remaining in the North Bucks League despite continued dominance, because they do not meet or do not wish to meet the standards required off the pitch. For example, PB (MK) only lost one league game in their first four seasons, winning the rest, but did not have a pitch that met the required standards and could not therefore move to a higher level.
This league has a total of four divisions: Premier Division, Intermediate Division, Division One and Division Two.
