NorthRiver Yacht Club

NorthRiver Yacht Club, located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA, is an invitation-only private golf club which opened in 1978. The course was originally designed by professional golfer Gary Player but was redesigned in 1999 by noted architect Bob Cupp. The course is set up to both challenge expert players while being forgiving to beginners still new to the game. PGA Professional Tim Joseph is NorthRiver's Head Golf Professional, with Gene Falls serving as the General Manager. NorthRiver has hosted many tournaments including the Alabama State Amateur Championship. The course is owned by The Westervelt Company, a privately-owned land resource organization committed to land stewardship and managing its resources for future generations.[1]
