Norris Point is a Canadian community in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Located on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland, the community hosts a marine biology centre, a pharmacy, a modern health care facility, and several businesses. The community is adjacent to Gros Morne National Park.
The name is a corruption of the original name North Point, which appeared on a 1767 survey by James Cook.[1]
