Norman Macleod (journalist)

Norman Macleod (born circa 1967) is a STV North news presenter and journalist for North Tonight/North Today.
A Gaelic-speaker from the Outer Hebrides, Macleod worked part-time at a BBC local radio station whilst in college. He joined Grampian Television (now STV North) as a bilingual trainee in 1987 and later joined the North Tonight team as a reporter and newsreader. Since a major revamp of the programme in 2006, he has been the programme's main solo anchor.
Macleod also narrates & presents some of STV's Gaelic-language programming and has also produced a number of special Gaelic programmes.
He is also a regular presenter/producer of Northern Exposure, STV North's online video blog.
