[edit] Cut-and-paste moves

Please don't do Cut-and-paste moves as you did with Louis Charles Antoine Desaix. They lose the article history, and it is a royal pain to fix it (I'm in the process of doing so). If you cannot "move" the particular article then, like it says on the move page, bring it to Wikipedia:Requested moves and let an an admin do it. It is much quicker for us to do this on your behalf than to clean up afterwards. - Jmabel | Talk 04:05, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
